I am impressed by the beauty of the facility; rooms are large and super- attractive, with new well-designed features for the best care possible.
Mom’s pictures, furniture, and treasured possessions from her home make her apartment warm and familiar. There are many great amenities such as a theater, large TV livingroom, dining-kitchen (the food is excellent and nutritious), outside porches, and beautifully landscaped accessible grounds within the locked area.
Mom loves to be outside in the fresh air and greenery, and spends a good deal of time on the grounds. Social interaction is facilitated through group activities, and residents are encouraged to participate. Staff treat the residents with dignity, compassion and love. I feel she is very happy here. The Mercy House Staff provide for any and all needs of the residents, and keep me informed of any development or change in Mom’s condition. There are nurses and a doctor on call. I live outside the state, and can visit several times a year, so I am happy I can trust that she is getting the best care possible. I highly recommend Mercy House Georgetown.”
